after a few minutes after keeping my breath for as long as i could feel the full potential force of gravity grabbed hold of me and pulled me in the couch i was sitting in. some friends who where in my company where playing guitar and there music got hold of me. a bright orange/yellow field formed in front of me on the wall. As i started to tumble in to the salvia's mercy, i started to feel like something i could only explain as being a kalydoscope instead of seeing one. a sensation i never feld before. my whole body was tinkling like thousands of needles where puncturing me at the same time ( think the nerf ends got over stimulated) after a few minutes i slowly crawled back to the room i was really in.
tried it again with few weeks later. a friend i was with, had put on some native music. the drums pounding in the music became intense. this time i closed my eyes and a specktacle of brownish colours formed in front of my eyes. it shaped in my head like the spiderweb constuction you see inside bones and in the cell structure of your brain. slowly they became faige. as i came back to reality.
a unforgetable experience.”

“não tinha qualquer tipo de experiencia com Salvia. exprimentei apenas e so uma dose do extracto de 10, ou seja, cerca de 0,3g e foi a maior trip que ja tive até hoje. tirou-me do real e levou-me para o mundo do fanstastico, do irreal. A trip a serio dura pouco tempo (de 5 a 10 minutos) mas 1hora depois ainda se sente alguma coisa (como por exemplo vontade de rir sem explicaçao aparente). aconselho!”

I was high of alot of weed and decided to take salvia. after some crappy tries before with salvia from rotterdam i can now fully say this is the shit. i smoked 0.3333 gram and before i blew out my first large toke which i held in my lungs for 40 seconds or well i kinda lost count i was spacing so hard i can't describe my trip. i advise a dose lower then 0.333 as this dose was too strong for me.”

“Matt's review was the closest to my experience that I've come across. A few years ago I bought some straight salvia dried leaves, tried chewing and tried smoking and nothing much happened but a slight stinging effect like stinging nettles on the inside. I pretty much gave up on it then, but have had some 10x extract sitting in my room for about a year now.
I decided to try some after my friend said he tripped off it the other night. i had 4 puffs of a joint of it laced with a small amount of hash this morning and before I knew it I was flying at lightning speed towards that state that for me personally is now a recognisable place where the truth of reality, at once awesome, magical, terrifying, spontaneous, and full of love is revealed. The difference is simply the mode of transport - I've had similar experiences on shrooms, but with them there's more potential to feel stuck or lost.
My first reaction to this morning's experience was to try to ride the crest of the wave, if only to escape the fear of perceived danger. However, doing this often feels like a cop out on my part (am I facing the fear or running?!). Anyhow, since I had my 2 young daughters to look after, I had to do ensure I was still able to do this (the effect was stronger than I expected). Very shortly after the first few puffs I felt a full-on flash of 'stinging nettles', which I must admit scared me, but in hindsight is not an unpleasant memory, more like the G-force at the start of an exciting take-off. It also made me feel a bit like a hedgehog! From then on, my awareness of immediate reality was so intense that I felt like if I didn't roll with it - laugh, talk, sing and dance etc - then it would get the better of me (the nature of most of my trips).
I always feel like this is the 'end place' and have the realization that perfection is the here and now (only made imperfect by one's distance in awareness from it). My kids were extra-specially cute, but didn't appear physically different, I'm pretty sure they were the same as ever - it was my focus that was more aware of them and interacting on a more fun level. I felt like a bear with a couple of playful bear cubs. To me this seems the right way to be, and I have a feeling that some people are like this naturally (I'm a naturally quite introverted person).
I think what the salvia has taught me this time is how allowing more intense feeling and awareness, and giving my full attention to the kids can really lead down paths of fun, laughter and joy and generate the love needed to keep things together. This is what really matters. The experience tapered off very pleasantly and after effects seemed to last for several hours.
i can imagine the experience could have been quite visual if it had been dark and the situation was different. ”
