Absinto (Artemisia absinthium)

Narcótico, dá uma sensação de relaxamento. Este é o principal ingrediente do conhecido licor alucinogénio.

I occasionally buy a bottle of La Fée parisienne Absinthe and 'use' it as directed burning the alcohol and mixing with sugar and water. It's great (if used correctly) mixed with Champagne BEFORE you go out.It acts like a stimulant and makes you feel really lively and cheerful.

But beware when buying absinthe as a lot of types are simply virtually pure alcohol with an anisseed flavouring added. Think Pernod, which was originally absinthe ! but had to be toned down due to missuse and no longer contains wormwood. 'Pernod' do however still export an absinthe but I'd stick with La Fée.It's made to the original recipe and is indeed distilled with wormwood.

But remember to follow the directions closely. The alcohol content needs to be burned off or it'll make you feel lousy/poorly.

I am so used to the taste of wormwood because I have used it to work against nausea since I was a kid, and it works like a charm! I recommend it to everyone! Best herb to make a tea out of for treating nausea! Thank God for wormwood!

I'm not too sure about absinthe, but i've been taking wormwood extract for several days to kill a recent and very unwelcome worm infection... not sure what's happened to the worms but it's unexpectedly cleared up a fungal skin rash that i've been only partially controlling for 15 years with canesten cream, but there's always a fresh rash somewhere on my body... now my skin's completely clear. Yaay wormwood!

The only reason to take Wermut is to kill worms in your guts......a nasty drug that harms you when taken as fun drug.

great for stimulating the creative process, as a sleeping aid, or for those who want to dream but can't/don't. been a fond user for 4 years. note: moderation is the key. different species have different potencies. the smell of it alone gives you the most relaxed and calm feeling without having to eat or smoke it. also keeps unwanted pests out of the garden. everything from rabbits and deer to mosquitoes and caterpillars. attracts ladybugs for some reason.... almost no end to the uses for wormwood.

Bad taste and it kills you much faster then tobacco + alcohol but nice for a slow suicide.
